Wednesday, 01 December 2021 | PNS | Chandigarh

Amid concerns over the potentially more transmissible new “Omicron” (B.1.1.529) variant of the Covid-19, Haryana Government has decided to postpone the decision to resume classes in schools with 100 per cent capacity from December 1 onwards.

Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar told the mediapersons that the classes will continue as per the present protocol.

The decision to resume schools with 100 percent capacity has been postponed as of now, he said.

The Minister had recently announced that all classes in schools will resume from December 1 while mid-day meals will start from January 1, 2022.
