The Covid-19 death toll in Haryana rose to 2964 on Tuesday with eight more fatalities, while 192 new cases pushed the infection tally to 2,65,391, a health department bulletin issued stated.
Two Covid-19 deaths were reported in Sonepat while one each from Gurugram, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Mahindergarh, Jhajjar and Palwal.
Among other districts to report new cases include Gurugram (56) and Faridabad (34).
The number of active cases in the State stands at 2441 and 2,59,986 people have so far been discharged after recovery. The recovery rate is 97.96 per cent, it said.
