Haryana on Monday reported 114 fatalities and 7488 fresh COVID-19 cases. The state also reported 14279 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
According to the state's health bulletin, the death toll due to COVID-19 has reached 6799 while the state's cumulative caseload has crossed 7 lakh mark. The total positive cases stood at 701915 which included 83161 active cases.
In the last 24 hours, a maximum 13 deaths were reported in Gurugram, the worst affected district in the state. Ten deaths were reported in Ambala, nine in Panchkula, eight in Panipat, seven deaths each were reported in Karnal, Faridabad and Hisar, six each in Bhiwani, Jind and Rewari, five each in Rohtak and Jhajjar, four each in Sirsa and Sonepat, three each in Kaithal and Fatehabad, two each in Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Mahendragarh, Nuh, Charkhi Dadri and one in Palwal.
A maximum of 1176 fresh infections were reported in the worst affected district of Gurugram followed by 830 cases in Hisar and 506 in Faridabad. Till date, more than 83 lakh samples have been tested in Haryana. The state recorded a test positivity rate of 14.94 percent on Monday. The fatality rate in the state was recorded at 0.97 percent, the bulletin stated.
