58 deaths were reported in Himachal on Monday taking the Covid-19 related death toll to 2369 in the state. More number of recoveries i.e. 3760 were reported in the last 24 hours as compared to 3546 fresh Covid-19 cases.
According to the health bulletin, the state’s cumulative tally has reached 163786. There were 36633 active cases in the hill state. 24 fatalities were reported in Kangra alone. The worst affected Kangra district also reported the highest 1210 fresh infections. 429 cases were reported in Mandi, 389 in Sirmaur, 344 in Hamirpur, 300 in Shimla among other cases.
Out of total active cases in the state, Kangra also reported the highest number of 11524 active cases. A day before, the state had reported 70 Covid related deaths, highest in a single day since the pandemic began last year.
