ICCR Bhopal to organise presentations for art lovers

Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Regional Office, Bhopal is organising presentations of various forms of art and music for the art lovers. In the same sequence,  under the online Horizon series, the programme "Sur Tarang" was organized under the Kala Vishwa - special campaign. An from Bhopal Ambrish Gangrade gave his scintillating online performance in the musical evening of sitar playing at ICCR, Bhopal.

He performed Raga - Bhimpalas, bilmpit bhaaptaal, mahalaya, Dutlay - 16 matra Teen Taal.  Ambrish Gangrade was born in Gauharganj, District Raisen. The first gurus of music and spirituality,  Pujya Vishwanath Prakash Brahmachari Maharaj and Pujya Ghanshyam Das Brahmachari Chinmaya Dham Nemavar district Dewas, he received formal education of music from childhood under the guidance of your father Ramprasad.  The journey of music started with Balsabha Akashvani, currently you are a B-grade artist in sitar playing, and further analysis in the field of music is going on under the guidance of Guru Pandit Karthik Kumar. Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Karthik Kumar, Ramji Gadre and Pandit G.P. Bharadwaj has been your ideal teacher.

He also gave successful presentations on many prestigious forums at the national and international level. He has also received many awards and honors at the government / non-government level in the presentation of sitar playing. He has his own specialty on playing sitar in odd and out of date talas.  He has also been honored in Rajbhasha, Tansen Rasik and Musician etc. Apart from this, he also made the blind school self-reliant by giving music training to the blind school as guest guru in Indira Sangeet Vidyalaya Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal under the Social Justice Department.
