Volunteers of NSS unit of Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) carried out an awarness drive, helping out the doctors and nurses during Tika Utsav.
The volunteer gave utmost efforts in helping doctors, nurses and other public health staff in the 4 day vaccination festival or "Tika Utsav" held from April 11 to 14.
The overwhelming burden may not be met by the available public health servants therefore, volunteers are helping in conduction and management of vaccination at the vaccine centers. Moreover, they are also helping in online registration procedures on the covid vaccine portal.
Door-to-door awareness is being spread by the NSS unit to encourage people to get vaccinated. Volunteers are also educating people and communities about the importance of vaccination and the precautions to take after getting one.
Senior volunteers Kartavya Panthi, Anushree Tiwari and Dolly Panthi are constantly engaged in spreading awareness through social media drives with the help of short video clips, posters and rangoli so that the message lands among a wider range of common people.Furthermore, volunteers Deepesh Garg, Kavya Dwivedi, Pratham Kapale and Suryaprakash Namdeo are encouraging people to wear masks and maintain proper social dust.
These tough times can only be combated through public cooperation amd mass vaccination.
