‘Tech skills essential for development of Hindi’
A Hindi workshop was organized for the employees of the Department of Stores at East Central Railway Headquarters Hajipur on Friday. Speaking as the keynote speaker in this workshop, Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Senior Official Language Officer said that workshops are important place in the use of Official Language Hindi. On this occasion, he mentioned the main instructions related to the official language policy of the Government of India and said that it is necessary to know the rules and regulations for working in the official language. In his address, he said that we are lucky that our mother tongue is Hindi but together True, it also increases our responsibility to make a meaningful contribution to the use of our mother tongue. It is very easy to work in Hindi through medium. He told the employees of the Stores Department that those who have any difficulty in working in Hindi can get cooperation from them personally. He said that in this era of technology it is necessary to acquire technical skills for the development of language. On this occasion, he explained in detail about the Constitutional development of the official language and directed the employees to work in Hindi.
Mega CAN Adalat held
Under the guidance of Hitesh Goel, General Manager, Canara Bank, Circle Office, Ranchi and in the gracious presence of A. Narayanan, General Manager, Canara Bank, Head Office, Bengaluru a Mega Can Adalat was held on Friday at the Circle Office, Ranchi. On this occasion Ashok Kumar Prasad, Deputy General Manager, P K Chanda, Assistant General Manager, Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant General Manager, Shanti Bhushan, Divisional Manager, Amar Kumar Karn, Divisional Manager, Ravi Mohan Gupta, Divisional Manager & Punya Prasun, Divisional Manager was also present. As many as 2132 borrowers from 160 branches participated in the Mega Canadalat where 1294 NPA accounts were settled having Book Liability of Rs. 1198.49 Lakh and OTS / Compromise of Rs. 1041.26 Lakh was agreed subject to sanction of competent authority and spot cash recovered is Rs. 205.89 Lakh.
Narmada Devi Garodia donates eyes
Eyes of Narmada Devi Garodia were donated to Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital on Friday. She was hospitalized in Seva Sadan Hospital and her grandson was motivated for donating the eyes of his grandmother. Cornea Retrieval team from Kashyap Memorial reached and retrieved the corneas within an hour of death. Dr Nidhi Gadkar Kashyap will be transplanting the corneas to patients in the waiting list soon. KMEH team has thanked the family members for thinking about this noble cause in the time of grief.
SBPS students shine in SOF Olympiad

SOB Jharkhand launches Baggo game
CORN HOLE (Baggo) game, which is highly popular in the USA, Canada and Europe, was formally launched today for Special Athletes of Jharkhand. Bailey Bodhanwala Area Director SOB Jharkhand, MD Tarapore Group of companies inaugurated the game by putting the pack in Corn Hole Board. Bodhanwala said that SOB Jharkhand works for a special section of our society and adds new facilities for the development of our athletes.
