Vice chancellor of Vinoba Bhave University Dr Mukul NarayanDeo today said that the Governing Body is the higher authority of affiliated colleges. He released a Press note and said that the matter of Karnpura Degree College is not related with the administration of Vinoba Bhave University, but the Governing Body of the said college. The financial power is availed by the Secretary and the principal of the college.  He again said that the allegations over the university officials are illegal, unconstitutional and merely a conspiracy. The Vice Chancellor said that a governing body is constituted by 7 members having one public representative either  MP or MLA, one person from administration, one university representative, one teacher representative, principal and one academician. These members elect   a secretary among them. Thus signatory authority is secretary and principal. The VC said that the State government releases grants to university and university sends it to the colleges. The salary of the beneficiary is being transferred in their accounts.
