3rd Covid vaccination camp at BSNL, Jharkhand

A special camp was organized for the BSNL employees and their families in the Jharkhand Telecom Circle, in collaboration with the Government of Jharkhand, for administering Covid Vaccine on the premises of Jharkhand Telecom Circle. The camp was inaugurated by the Chief General Manager KK Singh. The inspiration for organising this camp is Neetu Singh, Chairperson, Telecom Women Welfare Committee. In this camp, 160 people in the age group of 18 plus and 45 plus were given Covaxin and 100 people were given the Covishield vaccine. Pankaj Kumar Das, Sub Divisional Engineer (EB) played an important role in the successful organization of the camp.

JPPC distributes certificates to women

The first training batch of free beautician course conducted by Professional Congress in Upkar Club for the last six months ended on Monday. On this occasion, All India Professional Congress Jharkhand's in-charge and national spokesperson Szarita Laitphlang and State president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal gave certificates to 45 trained women and wished them a bright future. Laitphlang said that Jaiswal is working for the empowerment and self-employment of women in a planned manner and working to advance the society, which is commendable. Jaiswal said that the Professional Congress Committee in the Capital city would work continuously in the field of social service as well as women empowerment and self-employment.

CBI holds farmers’ outreach programme

The Central Bank of India on Tuesday organised a mega farmers outreach programme at Gola Branch of Central Bank of India. On this occasion Central Office of the Bank, General Manager Y. Anil Kumar addressing the farmers said that the Central Bank of India is the first indigenous bank for more than 100 years and has been providing excellent service to the people. Describing the bank, Senior Regional Manager Ajay Kumar Singh spoke about Kisan Sampark Abhiyan. He highlighted the benefits of renewal of KCC in the mega camp. On the occasion, Mukhiya Shusma Devi urged the common farmers to avail banking services. On this occasion, the branch manager of Gola branch, Nirad Kumar welcomed the guest and said that today 254 farmers got their KCC renewed in this mega camp.

Dhanbad to get two CNG stations

Dhanbad district will get two Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations tomorrow. Both happen to be on National Highways. One at Nirsa on National Highway no 2 that connects Kolkata with New Delhi  and another at NH 32 near Putki . This NH connects Dhanbad with Bokaro, Purulia, Jamshedpur and Ranchi. GAIL official Sagar Saxena said both would be inaugurated on Tuesday and in near future 15 such stations would come up in the district. In addition 51,000 households would be provided piped CNG in Dhanbad in coming days.

PAS Remembers martyrs on Kargil Diwas

A Special Assembly was organized in the virtual classrooms to pay homage to the martyrs of Kargil war, at the same time inculcate patriotism in the young hearts at Pentecostal Assembly School, Bokaro.  Arpan Kumar of class VIII recited a poem on Kargil War that was appreciated by all. Ayaan Raza and Suraj Bhagat presented cards depicting Kargil warriors/heroes. Students present in the classroom were soaked in the patriotic spirit. Principal Dr. K Prasad also motivated students to respect their nation, be courageous and be a good citizen of India. Sharing information Daniel M. Prasad the administrative officer further said that Kargil Diwas, a day to remember the valiant efforts and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces & we all PAS family pay tributes to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India during the Kargil War.
