CSPUR DAVIANS HOLD COMMUNAL HARMONY CAMPAIGN
Bhubaneswar: DAVians of Chandrasekharpur observed the Communal Harmony Campaign Week in the school premises. Harmony flags were pinned and donations were collected from the staffs for philanthropic purposes. The Civil Defence Wing of the School coordinated the activities.
VEDANTA LANJIGARH HOLDS BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Lanjigarh: The Vedanta Lanjigarh unit conducted a blood donation camp recently to support emergency need in the District Headquarters Hospital, Kalahandi. The camp was inaugurated by company Deputy CEO GG Pal where 120 units of blood were donated by employees and associate partners of the company. District Blood Bank Officer Jayantibala Naik appreciated the Vedanta’s quick response when the blood bank was facing an acute shortage of blood in recent times.
VEDANTA J’SUGUDA CO-OP WINS FICCI CSR AWARD
Jharsuguda: Vedanta Jharsuguda has bagged the 9th FICCI CSR Award 2020 in the women empowerment category for its flagship community development project Subhalaxmi Cooperative, a 4,100+ member-strong all-women society. The award recognises the efforts of companies in integrating and internalising Corporate Social Responsibility in their operations. Receiving the award, Dy CEO-Vedanta, Jharsuguda Deepak Prasad said, “Our Subhalaxmi Cooperative is a shining example of what corporate and community partnership can achieve.”
