Morning cycle ride by SAIL Ranchi employees
On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, a Cycling Event was organised on Sunday by SAIL Ranchi Units in the morning. Participants comprising all SAIL Ranchi Units – RDCIS, CET, MTI and SSO – assembled on a chilling morning at Ispat Executive Hostel (IEH), SAIL Satellite Colony. Children too added energy to the event. Led from the front by ED (CET), Jagdish Arora the rally went to the New State Assembly and from there back to IEH with a total travel path of 14 Km. Arora encouraged the employees to remain physically fit at these trying times. Snacks and tea were arranged for all. The event was organised by SAIL CET Sports Club.
SER organises ‘Heritage Walk’
South Eastern Railway (SER) organised a “Heritage Walk” at its Headquarters Campus, Garden Reach on Sunday. Additional General Manager and Chairman, Heritage Committee, SER, Atulya Sinha welcomed the heritage enthusiasts and briefed them about the rich heritage of different railway installations at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach. The main objective of organizing the Heritage Walk is to create awareness about preservation of the rich heritage of South Eastern Railway.
