ED, Canara Bank holds review meeting

Business review and strategy meeting was organized by Canara Bank Ranchi Circle on Wednesday at a city based hotel. The meeting was presided over by Brij Mohan Sharma, Executive Director, Canara Bank, who is on a two-day visit from Head Office, Bangalore for the review meeting of Ranchi Circle and for business growth. After the meeting, Loan Camp and Customer Meeting were organized in which 70-80 customers were present. Canara Bank performed well in the last quarter and has been ranked among the top three public sector banks in the country. The Executive Director instructed the officers of the Bank for the all-round development of Jharkhand State. In the meeting along with Executive Director Brij Mohan Sharma, Ranchi Circle Head and General Manager Hitesh Goel, Deputy General Manager Arun Kumar, Heads of Regional Offices and branches and other Executives were present.

‘Hindi Divas Celebration’ by Union Bank of India

Hindi Day celebrations were inaugurated by Binod Kumar Pattanaik, General Manager, Circle Head, Union Bank of India, Ranchi on Wednesday. After this, all the staff members present were shown the video message of the Union Home Minister, then under the instructions of the Department of Official Language, officials and staff took a pledge to be faithful to the provisions of the Official Language of the Union of India. The use of Hindi in the work of the Bank and the use of translation should be minimized, promoting the use of Hindi in every possible way and the implementation of the Official Language Policy in the annual programme of the Government of India and the Bank in the true sense. On this occasion, Vikas Kumar, DGM, Deputy Circle Chief, Anand Kumar, DGM, Area Head Ranchi, Ashutosh Kumar, AGM, Mukesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Area Head Ranchi, Bhaskar Mandal, AGM, Manoj Kumar Bhatt, AGM, Rajagopal Tadla, AGM, Rajesh Kumar, along with Rajbhasha Officer, Area General Manager’s Office and Regional Office Ranchi’s Chief Manager and staff members were present.

AIPC meeting held at Khunti

An important meeting was held with the office bearers of Professional Congress in Khunti district today under the chairmanship of Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, president of Jharkhand Pradesh Professionals Congress Committee. Chief Operation Officer of All India Professional Congress Committee, Aleem Zaveri was present in the meeting. Zaveri said that Professional Congress will work in every field and connect with the people. Special emphasis is being laid on health, education, employment and self-employment. The work of professionals in Jharkhand is commendable. JPPC president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal said that skill development training and computer training of women will be started soon in Khunti as well as library is being started for needy children and common people. The meeting was mainly attended by Professional Congress Khunti District President Dr. Anil Baraik, Professional Congress Ranchi District President Bhuvnesh Thakur, Wilson Topno, among others.

SCS observes Swachchata pakhwada 

Surendranath Centenary School observed Swachchata pakhwada from first September to 15th September, 2021. Various activities were organised in offline as well as online mode for the students of UKG to XII to participate. The activities took off with the Swatchata Shapath day on 1st September, 2021. Students were made to assemble and take the pledge. Following this, swatchata awareness day was organised on 2nd September 2021. Green school drive days gave opportunity to plant saplings to add onto the greenery. Hand wash Day, Personal Hygiene Days, Quiz, Speech competition. Hindi and English essay writing competition, slogan writing Painting Competition, Cartoon Making gave enough of opportunity for the students to participate and exhibit their talent and know the importance of cleanliness. Children  also made things out of waste. Prizes were given away to the winners for their commendable performance on the prize distribution Day on 15th September, 2021. Principal Samita Sinha said that we need to care for our environment joining hands together to make our nation clean, green and beautiful.

Bokaro MLA meets Governor

Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan met Governor Ramesh Bais and presented Bhagwat Geeta to him as welcome gesture. During meeting various issue were raised including proper solution to the problems of the displaced people across the state including Bokaro Steel Plant. It was also urged to direct the government to set up Commission for proper solution of problems such as rehabilitation, compensation and jobs along with to take appropriate action for the construction of Bokaro Medical College. Governor listened to Narayan and assured to take appropriate action. It is to be known that Legislator has been constantly demanding the formation of Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission in the state as peoples waiting for the justice got who got displaced due to various plants, Coal Fields, Dams etc .

Hot Strip Mill’s team makes new record

The team of Brigade-3 of Hot Strip Mill (HSM) of Bokaro Steel Plant under the leadership of Chief General Manager  Alok Verma set a new record of production of 5584 Tons (222 Coils) in one shift for the first time on 14th Sept.  Earlier, on July 30, the same team of Hot Strip Mill had set a record of producing 5540 tonnes (250 coils) in one shift. Brigade-3 of Hot Strip Mill with the resolution of better month every month having members Tabish, Deepak Mukeriya, Suresh Minj , Abhisek Kumar, Binod Kumar, Rakesh Bhardwaj, Vikas Bhanu, Chandra Prakash and Om Prakash have touched this new height by producing a record in A shift on 14th September.

Sarangi congratulates S Mohanty

Former Jharkhand Health Minister Dr Dinesh Kumar Sarangi has congratulated the Joint Secretary of the National Archery Association, Sumanto Mohanty, who has been selected to represent India in the World Archery Association’s conference in America. Mohanty is the first person from Jharkhand and Singhbhum region who has got this honour. It is worth mentioning here that Union Tribal Affairs Minister and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda is its national president, there is hope and belief that archery will be promoted in Jharkhand and it will be promoted to heights.
