Munda, Raghubar condole demise of GP Jalan

Union Minister Arjun Munda expressed grief and paid tributes to Gyan Prakash Jalan. “The very sad news of the demise of Gyan Prakash Jalan (Gyanu ji), former Director of the RSS, Ranchi and philanthropist was very sad. He was like my guardian. His death is a great personal loss. Let him place him in his steps. Give the family the strength to bear this sorrow,” he said in his message. BJP’s National Vice President and former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das also expressed condolences on the demise of the distinguished business social worker Gyanu ji, the provincial executive member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the former union director of the Ranchi. He said that the passing away of Gyanu is a personal loss for him. May God give virtue to the place in his shrines and to bear this suffering of his family, he said. A strong pillar of RSS collapsed with the demise of GP Jalan, said BJP leader Ramesh Pushkar.

Jharkhand Delphic Council election

Bijender Goel, Adviser and In-charge for South Asia, International Delphic Council (IDC) has accorded his approval to the election of NN Pandey, former IAS Officer, and Atiraj Sinha as President and Secretary General of Jharkhand Delphic Council respectively (State Chapter of International Delphic Council). Amit Modak and Rajani Verma were appointed as Joint Secretaries. Pandey has been authorised to create his own team. NN Pandey, Atiraj Sinha and other officials were elected unanimously in a zoom meeting held by South Asian Delphic Council on May 04. Ramesh Prasanna represented as observer of South Asian Delphic Council. He also organized an orientation program on Delphic Games for the attending members. Bijender Goel, Adviser and In-charge for South Asia, International Delphic Council; Dalip Singh, IAS, Former Chief Election Commissioner, Haryana and Syed Bashrat Moosa, President Jammu and Kashmir Delphic Council were among 21 prominent attendees witnessed the election and orientation programme.

JSGB donates 500 Home isolation kits

In view of the rapid rise in Covid cases and the problems being faced by the people of Jharkhand, Assistant General Manager Sanjay Kumar and Chief Manager Pradeep Kumar, on the instructions of Sunil Vinayak Jhode, President of ‘Jharkhand State Gramin Bank’, bought 500 ‘Home isolation kits’ at a cost of about Rs 6 Lakh and handed over to the Mission Director, Jharkhand, Rural Health Mission (NHM) today. The bank, dedicated to the State of Jharkhand, has always been carrying out its obligations in spite of its limited resources for the betterment of its stakeholders.

Spl vaccination camp at Press Club

On the initiative of the district administration, a special camp will be held at Ranchi Press Club from Tuesday, May 11 for vaccination to media persons and their family members. All preparations have been completed by the Ranchi Press Club and Mission Blue Foundation for vaccination starting at 11:00 am. Vaccine doses will be provided to media personnel and their family members in this special camp.

SBPS students shine in IOS 20-21

Students of Sarla Birla Public School brought accolades to the school by the phenomenal performance in iOS 2020-21 conducted by Silver Zone Olympiad Foundation. Akshat Kumar, Palesa Sanvi Pattanayak, and Agrim Sinha bagged Zonal and State Rank 1 and received Gold Medal and Special Achievement Certificate. Along with them Shreyashi, Naman Somani, Nidhi Tirkey, Md. Ijtaba Ahmad, Lokansh Bhojania, Pankaj Kumar and Anushka also grabbed Gold Medal and Special Achievement Certificate. Rubal Mukherjee and Shatakshi Kumari secured Rank 2 in both Zonal and State level and achieved Silver Medal and Special Achievement Certificate. Shreyansh, Navya Poddar, Rudransh Kumar and Navya Raj also got Silver Medal and Special Achievement Certificate for their excellent performance.

Tagore remembered on his Birth anniversary

The Pentecostal Assembly School organized a special assembly to pay homage to Nobel Laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on his 160th Birth Anniversary. Through the presentation of songs, choreography and powerful recitation of the best of Tagore’s works in Bangla, Hindi and English, the students of the Std 9 were motivated. The Chief Guest, Rita Prasad, herself a product of Visva Bharati University Shantiniketan shed light on the life and philosophy of Tagore. Sharing information Daniel M. Prasad the administrative officer said the webinar was an inspiring event for the students and teachers not to be defeated by the fear of the pandemic, but to keep moving ahead with faith.

JPPC holds sanitation drive

On the initiative of Jharkhand Professional Congress state president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, a sanitation program was organized on Monday in Ranchi’s Bariatu housing colony. Sanitization was done in people’s homes, roads etc. On this occasion, Jaiswal said that the outbreak of the second wave of Covid-19 has been very fast. In this asymmetrical situation, the hand of the Congress is doing sanitization with the aim of keeping the people safe with the common man. He said that Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, has to be kept absolutely safe in this terrible corona crisis, because severely infected patients from all over Jharkhand come to Ranchi for treatment. In such a situation, along with good treatment of the patients, the health of the people of the capital is always good, in this sense, sanitization is very important.

Mother’s day celebrations at PAS Bokaro

The Primary section of the PAS was bubbling with joy and laughter as each class put together a special assembly to honour the mothers. The lockdown allowed the mothers also to participate in this virtual event.  A special prayer for all mothers was offered recognizing that they are the most beautiful and precious gift of God to every child.  Children were eager to present their mothers with their creative handmade cards. The Principal, Dr. Karuna Prasad wished all mothers on this occasion and emphasized the forbearance, selfless service and unconditional love of every mother.  This extraordinary event of bringing so many mothers together was only possible because of the Lockdown. Can these challenges of the pandemic stop the human spirit of victory?  The celebration brought great joy to the children and their families- a bonding in a time of isolation, a community building endeavour at a time when we are all locked up in our homes.
