President accorded warm send off

Shimla: President Ram Nath Kovind was on Sunday accorded warm send off at Annadale helipad in Shimla after his four days sojourn to Himachal. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Speaker of State Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Parmar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister among others were present on the occasion. The President was presented a photo album comprising collection of photographs during the visit by the Chief Minister. He had on Friday addressed a special one-hour session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly here to mark the golden jubilee of its statehood.

Per capita income in Haryana decreased

Chandigarh: Haryana Congress chief Kumari Selja on Sunday said per capita income has decreased in State due to wrong policies of the BJP-JJP alliance government.  The decline in the per capita income has been revealed in the RBI’s report released on the Indian economy. According to the report, the GDP of 15 states has decreased in 2020-21 as compared to the financial year 2019-20. The per capita GDP in Haryana has fallen by 0.53 percent in the year 2020-21 as compared to the year 2018-19. This is not a good sign for the economy of State. Wrong policies of the BJP-JJP alliance government are directly responsible for this, she added.

No dearth of funds in state: Haryana Minister

Chandigarh: Haryana Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma said there is no dearth of funds with the State Government for development works, so no stone will be left unturned in the development works. The Minister had reached the Bhoomi Pujan program of Shri Badri Kedar Temple and Dharamshala to be built by the Uttarakhand Bharat Mandal in Ballabhgarh assembly constituency.  He assured all possible support for the construction of Dharamshala.
