OCTOGENARIAN DIES IN BULL ATTACK IN KENDRAPADA

Kendrapada: In an unfortunate incident, an octogenarian, Dhrubacharan Mohanty, a resident of Khardasahi under the Kendrapada Sadar police limit, died when two bulls were fighting with each other and he was standing on the roadside of the Chandol market. He was being shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital but died on the way.

HC JUDGE MOHAPATRA VISITS J’SUGUDA COURT 

Jharsuguda: Justice KR Mohapatra of the Orissa High Court on Tuesday visited the Jharsuguda court and held discussions with court staffs. Later, he held talks with Jharsuguda District Bar Association members about their problems. A guard of honour was given to him in the presence of bar association president Trinath Gual.

‘DRKURE’ BRINGS HOME HEALTHCARE

Bhubaneswar: Health service at doorstep: the concept has been developed by renowned doctors and specialists to cater to the basic health needs of the citizens of Odisha. The healthcare at home is delivered through the app ‘DrKure', which includes consulting a doctor through online, clinic or home visit, home sample collection, medicine delivery, physiotherapy, nursing care,  nutritionists advice, ambulance service besides remote health monitoring of a patient through smart health devices. “The home healthcare service is available to individuals and also includes corporate care for employees. The app service is limited to Bhubaneswar now and will be gradually extended to other key cities of Odisha,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr Archana Mallick.

1,200 KGS FM WASH, 450 LITRE ID LIQUOR DESTROYED

Champua: As much as 1,200 kg of FM wash and 450 litres of ID liquor were destroyed at Bolani in Keonjhar district on Tuesday. A raid in this connection had been conducted being led by Excise Inspector Chandan Mandal, Barbil police station OIC Gobinda Naik.

JSPL TRB MINES GETS ENVIRON EXCELLENCE AWARD

Rourkela: The TRB Iron Ore Mines of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) at Tensa of Sundargarh district has been conferred with the Kalinga Environment Excellence Award-2020 for its exemplary sustainable environmental practices. State Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro presented the award to Pramod Kumar Patra, vice-president and unit head of TRB Mines in Bhubaneswar. Naveen Jindal, Chairman, JSPL, has congratulated the JSPL team at Tensa for winning the award.
