Haryana State Level Children’s Festival organised

Chandigarh: Haryana Minister of State for Woman and Child Development, Kamlesh Dhanda on Sunday attended the online state level Children’s Festival organized by Haryana State Child Welfare Council as the chief guest. On this occasion, the Minister of State launched the booklet of online children’s festival and other programmes organized by the

Council. Dhanda said, children had to stay in their homes for a long time due to Covid-19 but the Council provided a world class stage to the children at home. She said about 5 lakh children participated in online competitions and the girls made history by participating three times more than the boys, thereby upholding the spirit of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao slogan. She announced a grant of `11 lakh from her voluntary fund for child welfare in the State.

Govt committed for development of Haryana: Min

Chandigarh: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Pal Gurjar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the Government is setting a precedent by undertaking and completing many public welfare works in the interest of every section of society. Gurjar was addressing the people after inaugurating a Community Health Centre constructed at a cost of `1 crore and an IMT park constructed at a cost of `50 lakh in the village Chandawali, Faridabad. He said the State Government is committed for all-round development of Haryana.

schemes launched for workers’ welfare in Haryana

Chandigarh: Haryana Government is providing various facilities to the building and construction workers through various schemes. A spokesman said the Haryana Building and Construction Labour Welfare Board is giving `51,000 as donation for the marriage of the daughters of the labourers. This amount is given upto three daughters of labourers. Similarly, interest free loan up to `2 lakh is provided for purchase or construction of house and `5 lakh assistance is also given on death of labourers under Mukhya Mantri Samajik Suraksha Yojana.
