Indore admin steps up vigil on illegal mining, instructs regular checks

On the instruction of Indore collector Manish Singh, a regular checking is going on in different parts of Indore district including Mhow, Deplapur and Sanwer tehsil. District mining officer Indore Juban Singh Bhide has formed different teams to check the illegal mining and transportation of minerals.

On Tuesday the mining inspector Alok Agrawal confiscated around 7 dumpers carrying illegal crushed stone and murram. District mining officer J S Bhide told The Pioneer that 6 dumpers were confiscated in Sanwer tehsil in which 4 dumpers were carrying illegal murram and 2 dumpers were carrying illegal crushed stone in the same way 1 dumper carrying murram and 1 JCB machine was confiscated at village Awalay of Mhow tehsil.

All the 7 trucks were carrying murram and crushed stones are of illegal mining and were done from restricted places. The case of illegal mining has been registered against all the 7 trucks and 1 JCB and now will be produced in the court of Indore ADM for further action and penalty.
