Indore divisional commissioner Pavan Sharma on Friday visited Alirajpur district and attended the meeting held at collector office, Alirajpur.
He reviewed the medicalfacilities available there to fight corona including isolation wards, covid care center, availability of beds and oxygen, and installation of CT scan machine in district hospital.
Later the commissioner interacted with people of different villages, and visited village Kanwada and Umri in Jobat Janpad area.
Commissioner inquired from villagers what measures they are taking to save themselves from corona and also explained to them the importance of masks, social distancing, hand wash and hand sanitizing, and encouraged the villagers above 18 years to get vaccinated.
Commissioner Pavan Sharma also reviewed the status of Ayushman Bharat scheme cards which are being distributed to villagers.
Alirajpur collector Surbhi Gupta, CEO, Alirajpur Jila panchayat Sanskriti Jain, SDM Jobat Shyamveer Singh, SDM, Alirajpur Lakshmi Gamad ,SDM Sondwa Devkinandan Singh, SDM Chandra Sekhar Azad Nagar Kiran Anjana, CMHO Dr Prakash Dhoke and civil surgeon Dr K C Gupta were present during the inspection of commissioner.
