Cyber crime nabbed inter-State gang member from Delhi who cheated unemployed youth in the name of getting job in Indigo airlines.
Under the guidance of senior officers, the team of Cyber Crime Branch District Bhopal has arrested the accused who cheated the complainant to the tune of Rs 46,000 in the name of job in Indigo Airlines.
Complaint was made by the applicant that he had done online registration for job in Indigo Airlines, after registration, a call came from a mobile number and accused posed as representative of Airport Authority of India and told victim has been selected in Indigo Airlines.
In the name of registration Rs 2500 in the name training Rs 8000 in the name of training after that Rs 15,500 was demanded in the name of uniform and Rs.20,000 was demanded in the name of opening of accounts. The money was transferred by me, after which a further demand of Rs 27,000 was made in the name of insurance, then on suspicion, the victim lodged complaint. Police registered a case under sections 419 and 420 of the IPC.
The accused identified aa Anubhav Singh used to operate a call center in Saket Nagar, Delhi, in which the accused used to contact the unemployed in the name of Airport Authority of India and take huge amount in the name of getting jobs in Indigo Airlines, fake offer letter and appointment by the accused. Letters were mailed to the victims and they used to cheat huge amount in the name of fees of registration fee, uniform, appointment letter, security fund etc. and after that the contact with the complainant.
