The NCC units in Brahmapur remembered the Jallianwalabagh massacre by staging street play, webinar, lecture and song here on Tuesday.
A street play was organised by 2 (O) Bn NCC at Mahatma Ganghi Chowk near the Gandhi statue in front of a large gathering of audience. A webinar was also conducted under the aegis of 2 (O) Bn NCC between the NCC cadets of TSD College, Bijaya Dhanurjapapur and Jamia Millia Islamia Center University, Delhi in virtual mode. The DDG witnessed the event.
Talks and panel discussion on historic importance of Jallianwalabagh incident were conducted to mark the event. Hundreds of local youths and common people witnessed the event and appreciated the efforts of the NCC.
