Rise in Covid-19 cases has compelled DC Shashi Ranjan to re-strateise the twice a week Janata Durbars here in the Daltonganj based Palamu collectorate. The Durbars are held every Tuesday and Friday here.
Ranjan said there is no curtain down on the Janta Durbars only site and situations have been modified in the wake of the Coronavirus surge.
He said now it is not held in the office chamber of the DC . Its site has been changed.
The site of the Janta Durbars is now in a more spacious and airy hall where physical distancing is well maintained.
Asked as to how a physically challenged petitioner can avail of the opportunity of meeting the top bureaucrat of the district Ranjan said he meets them right when he is out of his chamber and on the way to the big hall.
