The talk show was featured on the Instagram live page. It is to br noted that a talk series called ‘Baaton Baaton Mein’ is being held every day on Instagram. Hosted by renowned art critic Sunil Mishr, the series is being held for art lovers.
Hailing from Agra, Kajal eminently represents the traditional arts of dance and music. She is currently located in UK. While sharing her thoughts on Kathak, Kajal also shared her stories of spreading the art in UK.
Kajal shared, "I know it is quite challenging and it was in some parts of UK where Kathak was unknown to people. There were other dance forms known, but Kathak was not officially taught here. So, I would say that I got an opportunity to spread this art form in locations like Manchester, Chester, Sourthern Whales and nearby."
While sharing her story, she said, "When I was a child I was surrounded by colours as my mother was an artist. Also, I loved dancing and so I was automatically attracted to this art form. Besides, I also think that it was in my destiny to learn from Pandit Lacchu Maharaj at the age of 6 and then reach at this point of career.
