Kranti Surya Gourav Kalash Yatra launched

Sunday, 28 November 2021 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

All of you have reposed faith in me, I am with you. At that time your Mama was Tantya, now your Mama is Shivraj. Don't worry about anything. This Yatra marks the glorious journey of revolutionary Jannayak Tantya Mama. He is the pride of Nimar, pride of Madhya Pradesh, and the pride of the whole country.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh said this in Nimadi dialect in a program organized at Barod Ahir, the birthplace of Jannayak Tantya Mama in Khandwa district, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Gourav Kalash Yatra of Kranti Surya Jannayak Tantya Mama.

Starting with the jai-ghosh of Bharat Mata and Jannayak Tantya Mama, Chouhan said that it is a matter of pride for us that Jannayak Tantya Mama is venerated and revered in the entire country.

While singing the praises of Kranti Surya Jannayak Tantya Mama, he said that Tantya Mama heralded the battle against exploitation and injustice. He looted money and food grains from the British and distributed it among the hungry and the needy. We salute this great revolutionary of the state. The State Government is celebrating the Balidan Diwas of Kranti Surya Jannayak Tantya Mama as Gourav Diwas.

Chouhan welcomed and felicitated the descendants of Tantya Mama, Sonibai Jaising, Shri Vasudev Sirsate and Shri Hemraj Sirsate by giving them bouquets. He said that it is a matter of pride for us that the descendants of Jannayak Tantya Mama are present among us. I bow my head and bow down to them.
