Under Gamak series a lecture on Bhojpuri Culture getting extinct. The lecture was held on Saturday and broadcasted on Madhya Pradesh state Tribal Museum's YouTube Channel.

The event was organised by Bhojpuri Sahitya Akademi and was conducted by Manoranjan Ojha and presentation of Launda Naach by Bhikhari Thakur by  Kumar Uday.

Beginning of the presentation Bhojpuri folk singer and music director Manoranjan Ojha, in a focused statement about the characteristics of certain folk dances that are disappearing from Bhojpuri culture, he discussed the characteristics of Launda, Chauhat and Netua dance styles, their origin, their stage performance, the lifestyle of dancers, clothing, He shared his thoughts in detail about the form-decoration and tradition etc.

Manoranjan Ojha has given his musical performances in many national and international forums, he has written 187 often extinct folk songs for Akashvani and has directed singing and music for the programs of All India Radio and Doordarshan.

Ojha is working as Music Composer in All India Radio, Patna. Has participated as a judge member in many competitions at the national level. Manoranjan Ojha is a recipient of Vindhyavasini Devi Senior Award in Folk Singing by the Department of Art, Culture and Youth, Bihar and has been awarded Gold Medal by the Chief Minister-Bihar in the year 1990.

The second presentation was performed by Kumar Uday and associates of Launda Naach by Bhikhari Thakur.

Band-baja is often organized in marriages in Bihar. To entertain the people in that bandwagon, a boy dressed as a girl dances in fun to the tune of the musical instrument. At the same time, people also start dancing with him. The popularity of the dance can be gauged from whether it is a puja recitation or the occasion of a wedding or the time of reception of the people of the groom's side, this dance is performed everywhere with a band.

Kumar Uday has been active in Patna Theater for the last fifteen years, he has participated as an actor in plays presented by nationally renowned theatrical institutions. He has represented Bihar in 'Bihar Gaurav Anthem' organized in Mauritius.

Kumar Uday has received Bhikhari Thakur Samman, Tourism Award, Gold Medal in Tarang Mahotsav by the then President and in the year 2008 by the then Prime Minister of Mauritius. He gave presentation in many national and international forums.
