Mahant Indiresh to add 50 oxygen beds for Covid patients

The Mahant Indiresh hospital here has decided to add 50 more beds with life giving oxygen support system for the Covid-19 patients. The hospital at present has a total of 203 ICU and oxygen beds. The chief Public Relations Officer of the hospital Bhupendra Raturi said that the workers are working at a frantic pace to connect oxygen pipes to the new wards. He said that the hospital has increased its Oxygen capacity to 7000 litres.

Meanwhile in the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (Coronation) hospital Dehradun 33 bed Covid hospital started functioning on Wednesday. All these beds have oxygen support system. The chief medical superintendent (CMS) of the hospital Dr Manoj Upreti said that all the beds were occupied with serious patients in the morning itself.
