The Mukhyamantri Ghasyari Yojana will also be implemented soon to facilitate improvement in the economic and social level of women. Further, the important step of granting co-ownership right to women on the ancestral property of their husbands will also bring about major changes in the coming times. Rawat further informed that the government had appointed more than 2,200 doctors while the process of appointing 765 doctors and 2,500 nurses is underway. He exhorted all the people to plant trees on the occasion of Harela festival. The plantation undertaken throughout the year will be conducted extensively across the state on the occasion of Harela. Referring to the traditional art of Aipan, he said that efforts are being made to publicise it across the nation and abroad. A budgetary provision of Rs five crore will be made this year for people who made Aipan and handicrafts so as to preserve such arts.
