Nishatpura police have booked a man for sexually assaulting and exploiting a 20-year-old girl on the pretext of marrying her and later assaulted her and abused her of caste; victim lodged a complaint with police on Sunday.

Police said both the accused Sandeep Mourya and victim were acquainted and accused took her to a hotel where he sexually assaulted her and later assured her of marriage and sexually exploit her.

The victim in her complaint stated that she was acquainted with the accused and the two later developed relationship and luring her of marriage accused took her to a hotel and unaware of the ill intentions the victim accompanied her where she was sexually assaulted.

After committing the heinous crime the accused assured that he would marry her and later continued to sexually exploit her. Later when the victim asked to marry the accused he refused and threatened her life, abused her of caste but the victim informed the incident to the family.

The victim along with the family members lodged a complaint with the crime branch.  Police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and SC –ST Preventions Act and have started further investigation. The accused is yet to be arrested.

Meanwhile, Eintkhedi police have booked a man for molesting a 25-year-old married woman on Sunday; police have started search for accused.

Chandan Silawat molested the victim who had gone for some work near her house and when she raised alert locals came to her rescue during which accused escaped the spot.
