Chunbhatti police have booked a man for sexually assaulting a 45-year-old woman at her house in Chunbhatti; victim was held captive and exploited sexually for over 18 months.

The accused Hemant Yadav held the victim captive and during the period she was sexually assaulted the victim. Victim managed to escape house and reported incident to family and later a complaint was lodged with police.

The victim came into contact with the accused around three years ago, two were acquainted and on August 18, the victim was held captive and where she was raped by threatening her and later sexually exploited her several times. Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC. After the complaint was lodged, the police registered a case. At the time of filing this report, the accused was on run.

Meanwhile, a 31-year old woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the past one  years on the promise of marriage; victim was sexually assaulted by accused at a hotel in MP Nagar in the year 2020.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Sandeep Raj in the name of marrying her and few days ago he refused to marry her.

Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation. The victim came into contact with the accused and the two became friends and later developed relationship.

In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and during the past one year he sexually assaulted and exploited her.

Few months back when the victim started to pressurise for marrying the accused.
