Taking cognizance, district collector Avinash Lavania, in a quick action facilitated return of Rs 30.70 lakh to Abhimanyu Singh who was not able to get the house from Aakriti Builders.
Singh, who has been running pillar to post since 2013, has thanked the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, RERA and the district administration.
It is noteworthy that Abhimanyu Singh, a resident of Shaktinagar, had deposited Rs 25 lakh with Aakriti AG 8 Venture Builder, Bhopal in 2012-13 for a house in Hoshangabad Road at Chhan village. Since 2013, Singh was not provided with possession of the house nor could he was able to get amount deposited by him. Singh had lodged a complaint against the builder at RERA.
RERA had ordered Collector Bhopal Avinash Lavania to get the amount along with interest along with the property of the builder attached to the concerned beneficiary Singh. Taking cognizance of the above matters, Collector Lavania instructed the concerned SDM and Tehsildar to take action. In the case, 90 percent amount was returned which was Rs 30.70 lakh to the beneficiary by taking quick action.
Singh has a relieved man after this action taken under the mafia-free campaign. Beneficiary. Singh visited the collectorate office on Thursday and handed over a thanks letter to Collector Bhopal and thanked the Chief Minister for getting his hard earned money back.
