A bike rider died in a collision between a trailer and a bike near Amlo check post on Phusro and Dumri main road, while three people were seriously injured after being hit by an ambulance here on Friday. 

In relation to the incident, it is said that Anil Sharma was going towards Makoli with his bike number JH 09 H 8767.

When he  reached near Amlo check post there was a direct collision with a trailer coming from the opposite direction and Anil Sharma, who was on the bike, was seriously injured. 

Later the trailer overturned on the side of the road, breaking the electric poles. The driver and assistant fled from the spot after the accident. 

Sources said that Anil Sharma, who was injured in the  accident was being taken to the hospital by ambulance,The doctors declared Anil Sharma brought dead after examination.

During the incident, the wire of the electric pole that fell on the road side got three CCL employees stuck including mines In-charge Santosh Kumar, Munshi Anand Bhagat and Lalan Kumar of Dhori-khas. They got injured due to the above wire. All the injured have been brought to the Central Hospital Dhori.

While Anand Bhagat and Santosh Kumar were referred to Medica Ranchi for better treatment after first aid. The deceased was a resident of Shastri Nagar in Phusro.  He has a son and daughter.

The daughter is already married and the son was to be married on November 27.  He was going to distribute the wedding card.  The Bermo police have sent the body to Chas Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem.
