Man held for creating fake Aadhaar, PAN and voter cards

The Chief Minister’s flying squad have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly creating fake Aadhaar, PAN and voter cards from Village Nathupur of Gurugram, the police said on Friday.

The accused is Manoj Kumar Prabhakar, a native of Supaul, Bihar. According to the CM flying squad salutes, they received credible information about a man creating fake PAN, Aadhaar and voter cards to make money illegally.

Following this the team led by Inderjeet Singh Yadav DSP, CM flying squad conduct a raid at a shop named 'Bharti and Bharti Communication at Nathupur village on Thursday and nabbed the accused and found the bogus documents from his possession.Police seized one CPU, colour printer, monitor, 2 fake voter ID cards and Rs 5,000. “The accused used to ask his customers only for their name and photograph to issue the election, voter, and aadhar card and charge around Rs 500/600 for this. The accused had failed to produce any legal documents related to his work," Yadav said. "The accused had a customised software designed to create the fake electoral, aadhar and voter cards by keying in the required information. Where he used to make fake documents cards for people. Around two-three months ago, he started making fake documents for people who did not have any documents," Yadav added.

A case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused at DLF Phase-3 police station in Gurugram.
