Mansi Sudhir Singh Kathait of Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy has topped in two events of the 64th National Rifle Shooting Championship-2021 being played in State Capital.
On the first day, qualification rounds for women, junior and youth were played. The 64th National Rifle Shooting Championship-2021 is being organized jointly under the aegis of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and the National Rifle Association of India from November 25 to December 10.
The 10 and 50 meters events are being played in the championship.
In the 10m rifle women's event on the second day of the championship, Mansi of MP has topped with 627 points. Jasmin Kaur of Punjab is in second place with 626.90 marks and Neena Chandel of Himachal Pradesh is at third position with 625.70 marks. Out of 23 players, Ashi Chokse of MP is at 6th position with 622 points and Srishti Mishra is at 16th place with 620.50 points.
In the 10m rifle junior women's category, Mansi Sudhi Singh Kathait of MP is on top with 627 points. Jasmin Kaur of Punjab is second with 626.90 marks and Ashi Chokse of MP is at third place with 622.70 points. In the 10m Rifle Youth Women's category, Devanshi Katara of Rajasthan is on top with 621.60 points.
Akshara Vanam of Karnataka is second with 621.20 marks and Vanshika of Haryana is at third position with 620.40 marks. The final matches of all these three events will be played on November 30. A total of 3524 players from 41 units across the country are participating in the championship.
