Min flags off motorcycle rally

Saturday, 23 October 2021 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Home Minister Narottam Mishra flagged off the National Ekta Diwas motorcycle rally in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Addressing on the occasion, Mishra said that the place of our motherland is higher than heaven. We call our motherland Bharat Mata.

It is possible to give this type of respect to the motherland only in India in the world. This is our cultural heritage. Mishra and Director General of Police Vivek Johri paid homage to the martyrs by laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti of Shaurya Smarak and the statue of Bharat Mata.

Addressing the police personnel, Home Minister Mishra said that all the princely states merged with India as a result of the strong will and determination of the country's first Deputy Prime Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the leader of national unity. Mishra called upon the jawans participating in the rally to make the birthplace of the martyrs resonate with the chants of Bharat Mata, so that the coming generations bow before the martyrs with pride. He said that the motorcycle rally should infuse energy among the youth by becoming a powerful medium of public awareness for patriotism and love for country.

Home Minister Mishra flagged off the motor-cycle rally of 33 police personnel from Shaurya Smarak on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. The rally will go to all those places in the state where the brave sons of the country have laid down their lives in the defense of the country and pay floral tributes. This rally will travel 1760 km and return to Bhopal on October 31 on the National Unity Day.
