An MoU was signed between Police ITI Bhopal and School of Broadcasting and Communication (SBC) Mumbai for providing job oriented courses to the children of families of members of Madhya Pradesh Police.
Special Director General of Police (Training) Aruna Mohan Rao and SBC Director Tushir Choudhary signed the MoU.
Short Term Job Oriented Training for Children of Police Family in association with SBC like Anchoring & TV Hosting, Copyrighting for Advertising, Documentary Film Making, Film & TV Production, Mobile Journalism, Photography & Videography, Podcasts, Public Relations, Radio Jockeys and Voicing, reporting, script writing, theater and acting, video editing and writing skills have been introduced.
SBC is affiliated to Makhanlal University, Bhopal. The MoU with two reputed institutes within a week will help in building a bright future for the children of the police family.
The Principal and Additional Superintendent of Police, ITI Bhopal, Suman Gurjar informed that these new training courses will be helpful in providing employment opportunities to the children of the police family in addition to the traditional courses. The admission process will be same as before. He said that hostel, library, playground, gym, hospital,OPD, mess and scholarship facilities are also available in ITI campus as per government rules. Students will be taught through the latest technology in the course, which will make them easier in job placement.
