MoU inked for job oriented courses to MP police children

A MoU was signed between Police, ITI Bhopal and ITM University Gwalior for providing job oriented courses to the children of Madhya Pradesh Police family. Special Director General of Police (Training) Aruna Mohan Rao and Vice Chancellor of the University SS Bhakar signed the MoU.

In collaboration with ITM University, six months job oriented training like Fashion Designing, Communication Skills, Digital Photography, Basic Programming Languages, Digital Communication and Journalism and Mass Communication has been started for the children of police family. The allotted space for all these will be 30-30.

Principal/Additional Superintendent of Police ITI Bhopal Suman Gurjar informed that these new training courses will be helpful in providing employment opportunities to the children of police family in addition to the traditional courses. The admission process will be same as before.

He said that hostel, library, playground, gym, hospital/OPD, mess and scholarship facilities are also available in ITI campus as per government rules. He said that during the admission process this year 997 candidates had made choice feeling for this institute against 160 available seats. Additional Director General of Police (Training) Anuradha Shankar, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Training) Malay Jain, Devendra Singh Tomar of the University were present in the program.
