In the patriotic musical evening organized on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Shaurya Smarak, well-known local singer Aakriti Mehra along with her group performed splendid songs.
The programme started with a message sent by Minister Culture, Tourism and Spirituality, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Usha Thakur, in which she said that in the gallery of this bravery memorial, our armies, their historical details, information about weapons and medals, all these.
It is presented to show the coming generation that they should also see, read and understand them and decide in their life what we should do for our country, religion, culture and nation.
Major General VK Tripathi, GOC, PMP Sub Area Bhopal was present in the programme as the chief guest.
The musical evening started with the national song Vande Mataram by Aakriti Mehra. Apart from this, he along with fellow artists of his group gave some wonderful performances of patriotic songs, in which popular film songs like Jahan Dal-Daal Par, Ae Mere Watan Ke, Sare Jahan Se Achcha, Sandesh Aate Hai, Kar Chale Hum Fida etc.
In the orchestra group, Keyboard - Raju Rao, Guitar - Ritul Hazarika, Tabla - Mulchand, Dholak - Rajkumar, Octoped - Praveen performed brilliantly.
