The Chhattisgarh government will curb expenditure in 2021-22 like the previous year due to Covid-19 but there will be no bar on direct recruitment through the Public Service Commission or recruitment process for vacant posts as well as compassionate appointment.
Similarly, there will be no restrictions on payment of arrears and increments, an official press release said on Thursday. An order has been issued by the Finance Department to all departments on April 26.
Last year, an order was issued to obtain permission from the Finance Department before filling direct recruitment posts except those of direct recruitment and compassionate appointment to be filled through the Public Service Commission.
This was later revised by the Finance Department. The same order is applicable for 2021-22, it said.
