Some miscreants on Wednesday attacked Odisha Livelihood Mission (OLM) Rajnagar block coordinator Rashmi Ranjan Dash with sharp weapons and injured him critically.
He is struggling for life in a Bhubaneswar based private hospital. His wife Swagatika Pati has lodged a complaint at the Rajnagar police station and the police have started an investigation by detaining suspected persons.
Rajnagar police station IIC Tapan Nayak said that in the FIR, Dash’s wife alleged that while they were sleeping on Wednesday night, five to seven miscreants came to their house and knocked their gate. When her husband opened the grill, the miscreants swooped down on him. Pati said her husband had disclosed her that one Manorama Mahunta had hired goons to attack him to settle an old score.
