An oxygen container of a train transporting the life saving gas leaked at the Kesinga railway station in Kalahandi district late on Tuesday night. The train with 10 containers of medical oxygen was on its way to Chennai from Rourkela and around 2 am it reached Kesinga. Somebody noticed one of the containers was leaking heavily and informed the railway staffs. Fire personnel rushed to spot but they could not contain leakage. Then a three-member expert team from Rourkela reached spot and repaired container which took more than two hours. Sources said that oxygen leakage started at Balangir railway station but matter was not taken seriously.
