According to CAQM, in Punjab, four districts – Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Patiala and Ludhiana, contributed more than 70% to the total stubble burning events. In Haryana, three districts accounted for 80% of the incidents. They were Karnal, Kaithal and Kurukshetra.
