In an attempt to remind the State Government of its promise, the para teachers have decided to gherao the State Assembly on March 15. The decision was taken at a meeting of the State Committee of Samekit Para Teacher Sangharsh Morcha was held under the chairmanship of Sanjay Kumar Dubey at Morabadi Ground in the State Capital on Sunday.

It has been decided in the meeting that if the demanded pay scale is not given to 65000 Para teachers by March 14, 2021, then they will encircle the State Assembly. Apart from this, it has also been demanded to pay honorarium for 22 months which has not been paid to untrained Para teachers.

The district heads and the district secretaries of 22 districts were also present in this meeting.

After the meeting Dubey informed that the agitation will be held even if the unpaid honorarium of 436 para teachers of Chhatarpur, Naudiha Bazar block of Palamu is not paid. "We have also demanded the withdrawal of the lawsuit against the Para teachers filed during the previous Government. They have demanded an honorarium payment of discrepancies and payment of thousands of Para teachers in the pre-financial year. The Para Teachers Association says that all demands must be met otherwise they will encircle the State Assembly," he added.

The Associan's members will held protest district wise, on February 15 the Para teachers from Giridih, Ramgarh, Deoghar, Lohardaga, East Singhbhum will protest, on February 16 the Para teachers from Chatra, Garhwa, Simdega, Godda, West Singhbhum, on February 16 the Associan's members from Hazaribagh, Latehar, Pakur, Ranchi, Khunt,i on February 17 the Para teachers from Palamu, Dhanbad, Koderma, Saraikela Kharsawan and on February 18 and 19, the Para teacher from Gumla, Dumka, Jamtara, Sahebganj, Bokaro will be protest.
