To help the post covid patients keep them healthy and for speedy recovery, Spirometers are being distributed.
Physiqure and Hum Saath Hain organisation are distributing the lung exerciser to post covid patients. It is to be noted that a spirometer is an apparatus for measuring the volume of air inspired and expired by the lungs. A spirometer measures ventilation, the movement of air into and out of the lungs. The spirogram will identify two different types of abnormal ventilation patterns, obstructive and restrictive.
Dr Anant Gaur Physiotherapist at Physiqure said that the distribution has started at Physiotherapy Department Govt Homeopathy Medical College, Bhopal. He also said that the doctors will train the patients for the Breathing Exercises.
He further shared that various devices will be shared in this breathing kit including a baloon, straw and more. Dr Gaur informed that Physioqure initiated the funds for the campiagn 'One Physio One Spirometer' and have targeted to distribute 1000 kits. As of now 400 kits have been purchased are being distributed.
Dr. Gaur also informed that the kits are available for the needy and underpreviliged people of the city.
