Play ‘Ala Afsar’ staged at Ravindra Bhavan

he drama ‘Ala Afsar’ in Nautanki style was staged on Sunday at Ravindra Bhavan. This all-encompassing masterpiece of Mudra Rakshasa and staged in various cities of the country has been appreciated.

Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan from Prayagraj presented this drama.

The story of the top officer is as follows, Chitpur Town Chairman, Hakim, Postmaster, Headmaster, Inspector are all involved in corruption. It is reported that a top officer has come from Delhi for an intelligence investigation against them.A young man stays in a hotel in Chitpur, which these corrupt top officers consider and welcome him a lot, the youth also take advantage of their misunderstanding and recover a lot of money from them. The chairman takes him to his home, where he fights with his wife and daughter, and also takes bribes from the poor people nearby and collects a significant amount of money.

Then there is no surprise for the people, when it comes to know that this officer was fake, while the real top officer is going to arrive tomorrow.

The director of this theatrical performance was  Atamjit Singh, who has worked with theatrical directors like Ranjit Kapoor, Bhanu Bharti, Bansi Kaul, Mudra Rakshasa, Devendra Raj Ankur, Ratan Thiam. Atamjit Singh has also directed plays such as Laila Majnu, Goat, Nautanki Company Bai, Kaisa Insaaf Hai etc. which have gained much popularity. Apart from theater, Atamjit has also acted in five feature films and several TV serials and documentary films. Chairman Abhilash Narayan, Hakim Gaurav Tripathi, Postmaster Rohit Yadav, Kotwal Anuj Kumar, Ala Officer Ajay Mukherjee, Anokhe Shubham Verma, Chokhe Ashish Yadav entertained the audience with their roles.
