The TT Nagar police have booked a person for duping son of former MP to the tune of Rs 27.5 lakh by using digital signature fraudulently; accused usurped money collected by selling fish from Kolar Dam.
The accused Sitaram alias Santosh Chouksey used digital signature of company owners Farhan Ahmed and Himanshu Verma and became director of the company.
In his complaint, victim stated that in the year 2019 on January 1 they entered an agreement with the accused to sell fish from the Kolar Dam and would keep 50 percent of the profit and money would be collected in their bank account but after passing of one year they failed to get and accused collected Rs 27.50 lakh by selling fish from the dam and when they asked accused regarding the same he told that he is director of company and could keep money after which complaint was lodged by the victim.According to the police, the accused had produced forged documents by using digital signatures of the victim.
After the preliminary investigation the police registered a case under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC and started further investigation.The company formed by the victim took contract of fish farming at Kolar dam and entered an arrangement with the accused of selling fish for the dam which was based on equal sharing of profit.
