Police hold miscreants,recover stolen bikes, temple valuables

Kolar  police have nabbed three  miscreants and recovered 2 stolen bikes and valuables stolen from a temple  from their possession on Saturday; accused confessed burglary at temple and bike .

Acting on a tip off three persons were tracked and when they spotted police they tried to fled spot but were chased down. The detained were identified as Ajay Nath (23), Jitendra Nath(25) and Shubham alias Shivam Vichale (25).

Police said that the accused, during investigation, confessed that they committed burglary at temple and bike.

The police recovered a pulsar bike and Delux bike and valuables stolen from Gaytri temple from their possession. The recovery was of around Rs 3 lakh. All the theft and burglaries by accused were committed in Kolar and near by areas.

During the investigation police found that the accused are habitual drinker and for spending on luxury things by selling burgle goods.

Police intensified search after burglaries were reported in the area and during the probe information was received regarding the three and based on the investigation two accused were searched and nabbed and valuables were recovered from his possession.

The number of burglaries committed by the gang is yet to be investigated. The number of accomplices who have helped the miscreants in disposing the stolen goods would be investigated.

Pulsar bike was owned by Koduram Kewat which was stolen from Sarwadharam Colony and on the same day splendor bike owned by Kamal Singh was stolen from Katiyar Market.
