Misrod police have nabbed three miscreants and recovered valuables worth Rs 3 lakh from their possession on Wednesday; accused confessed burglaries at six places in Bhopal.
Acting on a tip off a person on a bike was detained and when he spotted police he tried to fled spot but was chased and nabbed. The detained were identified as Govind Chourasia of Misrod.
Police said that the accused, during investigation, confessed that the bike was stolen from Misrod area and along with his aides Rajkumar alias Bhura Ahirwar and Nand Kishore Parmar committed burglary and stolen vehicles. The three ganged to commit six such crimes.The police recovered three stolen motorbikes and valuables worth Rs 3 lakh from their possession
During the investigation police found that the accused have been booked for four cases of theft and burglary by Misrod police, one case of theft each by Hanumanganj and Sukhisewania.
The number of burglaries committed by the gang is yet to be investigated. The number of accomplices who have helped the miscreants in disposing the stolen goods would be investigated.
Meanwhile, Mangalwara police have arrested a burglar and recovered stolen valuables worth Rs 1.75 lakh.
Acting on a tip off regarding a youth with a stolen bike near Parcel Office tea reached spot and detained him and he was identified as Chhotu alias Irshad. He has been booked Gautam Nagar, Bajaria police for 10 offences of theft, assault, illegal weapons and gambling.
