Police nab three vehicle lifters; 3 bikes recovered

Gandhi Nagar police have nabbed 3 vehicle-lifters from Patanjali road and recovered three motorbikes and stolen hardware worth Rs 2.5 lakh from their possession on Wednesday.

According to the police, acting on a tip off a three persons were detained and from their possession three bikes and goods were recovered. The nabbed accused were identified as Bablu Panda (22), Shajjad Khan (26) and Prakash Malviya (50), all residents of Godipura Gandhi Nagar area.

In the initial investigation police have recovered three other vehicles from their  possession which were stolen from different areas of the state capital while 10 taps, 11 iron rods and a bundle of copper wires were recovered. The accused were trying to sell the vehicle but failed to find customer to purchase vehicle and before they could sell the vehicle they were nabbed by the police.

The friends and family members would be questioned in the investigation which could help in obtaining more details of earlier crimes and involvement in other crimes. Police said that the parking spaces were used to park the stolen bike and which were  sold later.
