Under another initiative of Haryana Government, COVID patients of the state who are below the poverty line and are not availing the facility under Ayushman Bharat Yojana will be given subsidy and this amount will be deducted from the bill at the time of discharge of the patient, he said.

Vij said that the State Government has set an incentive amount of Rs 1000 per patient per day to a maximum of Rs 7000 for the patients in private hospitals authorized by the government for treatment of COVID, and this amount will be deposited in the bank account of the hospitals when the patient is discharged.
