The film policy of Uttar Pradesh is getting a lot of appreciation at the International Film Festival of India-2021 being held in Goa. A stall of UP's Film Bandhu has also been set up there and it was inaugurated by Randhir Kapoor and Rahul Rawail.
At the same time, a delegation under the guidance of Film Bandhu Chairman Navneet Sehgal and Secretary Shishir reached Goa to participate in the prestigious film festival.
Inaugurating the stall of the Film Bandhu, film director Randhir Kapoor praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said “it is because of his strong film policy that all the producers and directors are getting attracted towards Uttar Pradesh”.
He sounded happy to inaugurate the Film Bandhu, UP at the film festival.
Describing UP as a wonderful place, film director Rahul Rawail said that more and more films should be made in UP. He appreciated the functioning of the UP government and its film policy. Many eminent producers, directors and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
UP's shooting locations are being shown on LED to producers, directors from all over the world. The film policy of the UP government is being promoted through booklets, folders and LEDs at the stalls of Film Bandhu set up at the Goa Film Festival. Artistes, directors, producers, technical experts from all over the world have evinced interest in CM Yogi's vision, policy and beautiful film shooting locations of UP.
It may be recalled that famous film director Karan Johar is also impressed by the film policy of UP. Anchoring the inaugural event, he said, "If you shoot a film in Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi of UP, then the stories emerge automatically."
