Awadhpuri bolice have booked two property dealers who duped a retired BHEL employee to the tune of Rs 35 lakh in the name of providing duplex at Archana Homes colony; police have registered case after investigation.
According to the police, the accused Yogendra Rajput and Khambra duped the victim Krishnaroa Barkar by selling his house and not providing the money of sold house. A complaint was filed regarding the fraud and after completion of the investigation the police have registered a case under section 406, 420 of the IPC.
In his complaint victim stated that in the year 2015 he bought a duplex house in Archana Homes colony which was constructed by Khambra and Yogendra Rajput was his partner. The two assured that the house would be completed on time and possession would be given on time and after the agreement victim provided Rs 35 lakh in parts to the accused but the house was never completed on time and when victim asked for refund of money accused escaped with excuses later they refused.
Based on the complaint lodged by the victim after long investigation police on Saturday registered case against the accused who refused to provide money.
During the investigation police found that the accused collected money from victim in their construction company’s bank account in parts but never provided possession and transferred ownership of the house in the name of victim.
